Nuwaraeliya in monsoon

This is the moment when I asked the driver to just stop… stop the car! I jumped out of the car and drift of water from this huge waterfall embraced me. On this journey from Kandy to Nuwaraeliya in monsoon months… you can see countless such falls… at one time I could see five waterfalls all around me. Entire journey on that day….I was like a child.. all wide-eyed wonder and jumping on my seat on the sight of each fall.. ‘you see there is one more waterfall’…. at one time… my local colleague gave me such a blank look… which meant ‘so what!’ Maybe I needed this jerk… otherwise, we could not have reached the destination on that day. But now I wonder .. isn’t the journey more important than the destination?
