Spread the love

Aditi Ghosh

The name Varanashi derives from the two tributaries of the river Ganges (Ganga)- Varuna and Assi forming northern and southern city boundaries respectively. This holy city is well known for its 80+ ghats/ quays across the Ganges and each has a fascinating story of its own, be it from mythology or colonial past.

So much has been said and told about this popular city, still, there is so much to learn, experience and explore. Every time I visit the city….a new consciousness transcends my thoughts- I realise a dimension within myself that is infinitely vaster than thought. Varanasi has a magical aura – it brings in the spiritual dimension within you- it does not matter if you are a believer or not.

It seems I have made some divine connections with Varanasi… this is the third time in the last one year. It is just happening to me … as if the awakening of the transcendent self.
