Again we are on road – 3

Last evening we were speaking with the property manager and he was sharing how twelve years back he came here for developing this property and pitched a tent. It took him six years to develop this. The labours used to go back by evening and how he lived here alone night after night. Over time, four dogs became his family and all passed away now. Nini got special treatment here, I think coz of the manager’s special weakness for dogs and anyway hilly people are not scared of dogs like urbanites they know how to co-exist.
Nini continues with her indomitable spirit…..becoming a pro over time in navigating all kinds of slopes with agility. Rajesh joined us for the sunrise trek today ( not the entire route though). All foods are so yummy here, Rajesh is showing benevolence even on the choice of dal from his usual fixation on yellow dal. Nature is always full of surprises. This morning during sunrise, the colours of the western sky were very similar to the eastern sky- as if the sun can rise from anywhere. A unique experience indeed. We can hear cricket sounds here during the day as well- wondered notice that frequency change during the day-it is a slow and long call. The panorama changes here every hour from dawn to dusk and also one day to another… sitting here amidst the vastness of nature and the tranquillity gives a transcendent feeling of becoming one with the universe!
