The calling of the mountain- part 3

Kalpa is a ideal place for a retreat. It is a place where silence rules over noises in the head. It reverberates peace, and more importantly, instills a sincere wish to seek peace. Rains kept us captive yesterday, we spent the day watching clouds play on the mountain with sips of tea and black coffee in between and some clicks to the best of our abilities to realise that it is futile to try capturing the moments.

Kinnaur is known as the land between earth and paradise – it is so true! We woke up this morning with the magnificent view of entire Kailash Kinnaur range. And the spectacle of god’s rays (crepuscular rays) behind the himalayan peak at sunrise is something heavenly… just beyond my comprehension. No more words.. sharing some pictures ( camera could not do the justice though!)
